Our diffuser with natural pyrethrum is a revolution for getting rid of flies and other insects in our homes or breeding facilities. In 15 minutes, all the flies have disappeared from the house. Additionally, since pyrethrum is a non-toxic plant for humans and warm-blooded animals, the Muscamatic spray can be used in sectors such as hospitality or child nurseries and daycares.

Usage of fly and insect repellent

The aerosol is equipped with a dosing valve. Each press releases an exact dose of 47.7 mg. The aerosol can be used as is, by hand or in the diffuser designed for this purpose.

For manual application, hold the spray in a vertical position, press the button and spray upwards and towards the center of the room, using brief presses. Do not exceed an average spray duration of 4 to 5 seconds.

For use in an automatic diffuser, a dose of product will be sprayed every 5 to 30 minutes for a volume of 160 square meters.

What is natural pyrethrum?

Pyrethrum is a plant-based insecticide extracted from the dried flowers of chrysanthemums, also known as Dalmatian pyrethrum. Kenya is the largest producer of pyrethrum, followed by Tanzania.

The term pyrethrum refers to the powder extracted from the dried chrysanthemum flowers while the term pyrethrin refers to the six active compounds contained in this powder.

How does it work on insects?

Natural pyrethrum is a contact product that directly affects the nerves of insects by blocking their sodium channel. The insects then die very quickly. This system only affects cold-blooded animals and is therefore harmless to humans and domestic animals. Do not use if you have an aquarium or snakes and other cold-blooded reptiles.
