What is cade oil?

Cade oil is extracted from the fruit of the wild juniper, a tree found in the Mediterranean also known as the cade tree.

Previously used by shepherds for its repellent, antiseptic, fungicidal, and healing properties, it is highly valued today for its benefits to animals as well as humans.

In poultry, it fights against mange, red mites, and damage caused by pecking, thanks to its healing, repellent, antiseptic, antiparasitic, and fungicidal properties.

Our cade oil is called "authentic cade oil"!

This means it is very thick for application with a brush, its dilution rate with essential and vegetable oils is 35%. The optimal dilution rate to derive all benefits without burning the animal. Our authentic cade oil is ready to use while retaining all its healing properties.

Be careful not to confuse it with certain cade oils sold in spray form where the dilution is significantly lower to allow spraying and therefore with reduced repellent, antiseptic, fungicidal, and healing properties.

Application advice

For poultry affected by scaly leg mite, depluming itch, or have been victims of pecking or infested with red mites, apply twice a week with a brush on the affected areas of the hen.

Shake the bottle well before use.

Cade oil can also be used to treat mange in chickens and other poultry, especially for scaly leg mite and depluming itch in poultry.

Even though it is used for all things related to skin care, authentic cade oil can also be used to prevent red mites or as a curative treatment to eliminate them.
