What is Biomaster?

The plastic body has been treated with BiomasterTM, a permanent antibacterial additive with silver ions. It is a safe and effective system for controlling the proliferation of harmful bacteria since it acts against viruses, over 50 different types of bacteria, and molds.

What is the function of silver ions?

•          They prevent bacterial growth upon contact with the surface of the material treated with Biomaster;
•          They interfere with enzyme production by blocking cellular energy production;
•          They hinder the replication of bacterial DNA cells, thus causing their death.

Why is it useful?

BiomasterTM prevents the spread of bacterial infections in embryos, which is one of the main causes of death during the hatching phase. The Biomaster additive is incorporated into the matrix from which the plastic body of the incubators is molded, thereby ensuring maximum antibacterial protection throughout the life of the incubator. The treatment does not affect its mechanical performance.

Specific Features of Our Incubators

•          Inspection Windows: the cover is equipped with two inspection windows allowing the user to monitor all phases of incubation from the outside;
•          Cellular System: the special shape of the egg baskets allows you to accommodate both small eggs (up to 4 quail eggs) and large eggs (up to goose eggs);
•          Oscillating Egg Basket: the eggs to be incubated are placed in the oscillating egg basket: the inclination of the basket is changed by the OVOMATIC egg turning unit;
•          Hatching Grid: The grid is an accessory included in the incubator to allow chicks to emerge in the final phase of incubation;
•          Filling Ports: the external ports are used to fill the water trays without opening the incubator, thus avoiding the loss of heat and humidity;
•          Digital Display: allows setting the temperature from 30°C to 40°C (with a precision probe for setting the temperature with variations of 0.1°C) simply by pressing the + and – buttons

Egg Turning:

The automatic River incubator is equipped with a device to automatically turn the eggs once every hour.

Egg turning imitates the hen which stands up several times a day and moves its eggs in the nest.

The automatic turning consists of tilting the eggs 45 degrees on either side of the vertical, this back-and-forth movement is ideal for optimal chick development, this movement protects the embryonic membrane unlike machines that roll them.
